We are extremely excited to be hosting an amazing workshop for our dear friend and co-worker, Brent Van Dyken, who was recently diagnosed with stage IV terminal brain cancer. Being able to bring together some of the most talented photographers in the industry for this educational opportunity, while raising money to better the life of our employee and friend, is a great privilege to say the least. There are several ways you can be a part of the ”Workshop for Brent”, by attending the event at the RadioPopper headquarters, purchasing a live streaming video ticket, purchasing the DVD, offering a donation, or just spreading the word!

Hotel: The room block is under "RadioPopper" at the Homewood Suites Vancouver-Portland, rooms are $109 per night. 

Streaming Video Ticket
For those of you who are unable to attend but want the opportunity to learn from some of the best, we will be streaming each class live online. Streaming video tickets are $49 per class and can be purchased from UStream. A 10% off giftcode for the RadioPopper online store will be given during each class. 

Free Streaming
Mike Fulton, Cody Clinton, Kevin King RP CEO, Matt Kachevas RP VP, and some RadioPopper employees will be shaving completely clean from the neck up on Sunday Oct 16th at noon. We will stream this circus act free, so come join the fun. Also, on Saturday Oct. 15th from 4pm-5pm PST, we will be streaming a Panel Discussion and Question session with all the mentors. This is a great time to pick the pro's brain's for free.

10am – 12pm:  
Studio Portraiture and Fashion with Kevin Focht

Kevin will be offering his 25 years of experience in studio and fashion lighting during his class, in which he will be covering how to light a subject for a portrait or a fashion shoot. He will discuss the difference between the two types of lighting. As well as, show you how to use a softbox, octobank, and beauty dish.

1:30pm – 3:30pm:
Triangle of Light for any Venue with Bob Davis

Putting the sparkle in your reception lighting with off-camera flash.  Bob has developed a method he calls the "Triangle of Light," for all of his receptions, and he is going to share it with you.  The "Triangle of Light" adds sparkle to receptions giving your images depth and dimension by creating light and shadows not the flat light that you get by using on-camera bounce flash. Bob will go into detail of how he sets up and shoots using speedlights in both TTL and Manual modes, to create wonderful light in any reception setting from dark halls to outside at night.

10am – 12pm:
Lighting Fundamentals and Seniors with Jordan Chan

Jordan has built his business on fashion, pageant, and high school seniors. Jordan has made lighting his craft. In addition to going exploring off-camera flash and using your RadioPopper products, Jordan will go into depth on his lighting techniques and what his lighting thought process is going into each session. He will talk about how to pose based on your lighting. This class is for photographers of all skill level and experience!

12pm-12:45:
Shave that head! Mike Fulton, Cody Clinton, Kevin Focht, Kevin King, and Matt Kachevas will be shaving themselves completely! (err, from the neck up)

2pm – 4pm:
Tools for your Business and Marketing with TriCoast Photography

Mike and Cody will dive into the world of business and marketing. They will discuss how to expand your knowledge and services to your local community, and how to make money in today's systems. As they say "Stop being a one card studio and start being a one stop studio."

4:30 – 6:30:
Shooting with the Mentors (Models available)
